Karate competitions continue at the VI Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
Idman.Biz reports that Madina Sadigova, the Azerbaijani representative competing in the 55 kg weight category in the women's competition, faced Sevinch Rahimova, the representative of Uzbekistan, in the semi-final stage.
She lost the tense match with a score of 3:7.
Thus, although Madina Sadigova failed to reach the final, she won the right to fight for a bronze medal.
It should be noted that the karate competitions at the VI Islamic Solidarity Games will continue until November 18.
