Khaliq Ildirimzade, Vice President of the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation, met with the national swimming team.
Idman.Biz reports that the meeting was attended by ASF Secretary General Ogtay Atayev, Advisor Rashad Abdurrahmanov, as well as Federation employees and coaching staff.
One of the main issues discussed was the team's current situation and future plans. The ASF leadership was given detailed information about the preparation process for the upcoming 3 major competitions. These are the U-18 European Championship in Munich (July 7-12), the World Cup hosted by Baku (October 1-3) and the Youth Olympic Games in Dakar (October 31 - November 13).
In addition, the criteria for becoming a member of the Azerbaijan national swimming team were presented to the meeting participants. The updated document will soon be posted in the "Documents" section of our website. These criteria will apply not only to athletes currently representing our country, but also to swimmers who want to become members of the national team.
