We can expect even higher results from Azerbaijani swimmers in the future.
According to the Western Bureau of "Report", this was stated by the Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation (ASF) Oktay Atayev in his statement to journalists about the performance of the team that won 13 medals at the III CIS Games.
He said that the overall result was gratifying and that they were satisfied with the medals won:
"As you know, swimmers from lower age groups participate in the CIS Games. We won a medal for the first time at the CIS Games, and this is very gratifying. We are very satisfied both in terms of organization and results. In the future, we can achieve even better results than we are now.
New conditions have been created for swimmers in our federation. I hope that as a result of these conditions and the support provided, our successes will be even greater," said the Secretary General.
