Idman.Biz reports that the doping tests of 32-year-old Kenyan marathon runner Albert Korir revealed the prohibited substance synthetic erythropoietin (CERA). This substance improves muscle function and increases endurance.
Korir won the New York Marathon in 2021 and has also won marathons in Vienna, Houston, and Ottawa. Due to the doping detection, all his results have been cancelled, and he has been banned for 5 years.
