The number of volunteers who will work at the III CIS Games, which will be held in Azerbaijan this year, has been announced.
"Report" reports with reference to the press service of Baku City Circuit Operations Company that 3000 volunteers will work during the competition.
Most of the volunteers will be in Ganja (1250 people). In addition, 600 volunteers will participate in Gabala, 350 in Sheki, 255 in Mingachevir, 190 in Yevlakh, 185 in Khankendi, and 175 in Goygol.
Interest in the III CIS Games Volunteers program is high. More than 9,700 candidates have applied through the program's registration portal. 7,200 candidates participated in the interview stage, which started on June 24, and the selection process was successfully completed. Currently, training is ongoing to ensure that volunteers are fully prepared for the competition.
During the Games, volunteers will work in key areas such as sports operations, human resources and workforce, venue management, events and ceremonies, and media operations. They will be responsible for welcoming, directing, and answering questions from athletes, guests, and media representatives.
By being an integral part of the III CIS Games, volunteers will make a significant contribution to the high-level organization of the competitions and will play an indispensable role in the successful organization of this magnificent sports festival.
