10th anniversary of "Baku-2015" and other issues discussed at the meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Olympic Committee

A meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) was held. Sport24.az, referring to "Report", reports that Chingiz Huseynzade, the vice-president of the organization, who spoke at the meeting held in the administrative building of the NOC, introduced the participants of the Executive Committee to the agenda.

The agenda included the "Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Innovation in Sports" competition dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Baku-2015 I European Games, the EYOF-2025 European Youth Olympic Festival, issues related to Olympic Day, and current issues.

Chingiz Huseynzade spoke about the 10th anniversary of the Baku-2015 I European Games: "10 years ago, the attention of the whole world was focused on Azerbaijan. For the first time in history, our country took on this responsibility and hosted the I European Games at a high level. By organizing the I European Games in an exemplary manner, we gained the trust of international organizations. We proved that Azerbaijan is the most reliable partner for holding any prestigious sports event. The "Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Innovation in Sports" is being organized for the first time in the world".

Noting that anyone over the age of 18 can apply to participate in the competition, Chingiz Huseynzade noted that the jury has also been determined. It was emphasized that representatives from the European and Turkish Olympic Committees, as well as from our country, were included in the jury. The jury includes Victoria Cabezas, Secretary General of the Spanish National Olympic Committee, Volkan Öner, Director of Public Relations of the Turkish National Olympic Committee, Tunzala Agayeva, Star Ambassador of the I European Games, gold medalist Rasul Chunayev and Mehman Karimov, representative of the NOC.

Speaking about Olympic Day at the meeting of the Executive Committee, Chingiz Huseynzade noted that an event will be organized in the National Olympic Committee on June 23.

Mehman Karimov, Director of International Programs of the NOC, spoke about the presentation of the "Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Innovation in Sports Competition" dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Baku-2015 European Games. Rasul Chunayev, the Greco-Roman wrestling winner of the I European Games, and Tunzala Agayeva, the star ambassador of the games, shared their impressions of the Baku-2015 European Games.

At the meeting, Vagif Aliyev, the head of the mission of Skopje-2025 EYOF, also spoke and informed the members of the Executive Committee about the preparations for the European Youth Olympic Festival.
