Results of the II round of the "Talent Selection" competition

Today, the II round of the "Talent Selection" competition among U-17 juniors in judo has ended. Sport24.az reports that 265 athletes (222 boys, 43 girls) from 64 clubs and sports societies participated in the tournament held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex.

On the final day of the competition, 134 judokas competed on the tatami in 8 weight categories. Girls competed in -44 kg, -52 kg, -63 kg, +70 kg; boys competed in -55 kg, -66 kg, -81 kg and +90 kg weight categories.

It should be noted that athletes who are in the top 4 in each weight category in the final ranking of 2 rounds will be involved in the "Hopes of the Future" training program.
