Four Azerbaijani judokas will compete in the "Grand Slam" tournament in Tashkent today.
Idman.Biz reports that the Judo Federation has released information about this.
It was reported that in the men's competition, in the 1/32 final stage in the 73 kg weight category, Kamran Suleymanov will face Japanese Shusuke Uchimura. In the 81 kg category, Omar Rajabli will face Romanian Adrian Sulka in the 1/16 final.
In the women's competition, in the 1/16 final in the 63 kg weight category, Fidan Alizade will compete against Uzbek Sevinch Isokova. In the 70 kg category, Sudaba Aghayeva will test her strength against Russian Kamila Badurova in the 1/16 final stage.
It should be noted that the "Grand Slam" will end on March 1.
