Aziz-Agha Ahmadov, one of the first judo coaches of Azerbaijan and among the first coaches of the national team, has passed away.

Among the coach's trainees, who have made great contributions to the training of young athletes for many years, are multiple world and European prize-winners in judo, 4-time world and 5-time European champion in sambo, Honored Master of Sports Natig Bagirov, multiple winners of Azerbaijani and All-Union tournaments Ismat Iskandarov, Asif and Arif Yusifovs, Arif Gasimov, Honored Coaches of Azerbaijan Ruzbeh and Rauf Veliyevs, Etibar Bagirov, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Museyib Amirov, European Championship silver medalist Tarlan Poladov, prize-winner of the VIII Spartakiad of the Peoples of the USSR Ilham Jafarov, Irsil Khaimov, Akbar Karimov, Anatoly Kakhanovich, Mirali Seyidov and hundreds of athletes.
