Azerbaijani figure skater Vladimir Litvintsev has made it into the top ten after the short program at the Grand Prix held in Lake Placid, USA.
According to Idman.Biz, the judges assessed his performance with 75.87 points, which allowed Litvintsev to maintain seventh place.
The Azerbaijani athlete is 0.26 points ahead of Italian Nikola Memola and 1.81 points behind Tatsuya Tsuboi from Japan.
After the short program, the lead is held by Japanese Kazuki Tomono (95.77). Frenchman Kevin Aymoz (93.56) is second, and Kazakh athlete Mikhail Shaidorov (89.67) is third.
Figure skaters will perform the free program on Saturday, November 15.
