The action of Ukrainian rhythmic gymnast Sofia Krainska during the medal ceremony at the European Championship has caused discussions.
Idman.Biz reports that the incident took place at the European Junior Championships held in Varna, Bulgaria.
In the ribbon exercises, Russian gymnast Yana Zaikina won the gold medal. Ukrainian Sofia Krainska took second place, and German representative Melissa Dite took third place.
It is reported that Krainska put on headphones and covered her eyes with her hands while the Russian anthem was played during the medal ceremony.
It should be noted that the European Championship is held in Varna on May 27-31. The competition is held in both adult and junior categories.
