Tofiq Aliyev, Azerbaijani tumbling gymnast and two-time world champion, could be selected as the 2025 European Gymnast of the Year.
Idman.Biz reports that Tofiq Aliyev is nominated in the European Gymnastics Federation's voting for Male Gymnast of the Year.
Besides him, the other athletes nominated to win this nomination are: trampoline gymnast Gabriel Albuquerque (Portugal), artistic gymnasts - Hamlet Manukyan (Armenia), Noe Seifert (Switzerland), and Luke Whitehouse (Great Britain).
Currently, Tofiq Aliyev is leading with 59% of the votes. Voting will continue until 00:00 Central European Time on March 3rd.
