The next meeting of the Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation (AWF) was held.
This was reported to "Report" by the AWF press service.
Coaches of national teams, as well as doctors and other employees of the administrative staff, participated in the reporting meeting, which was held under the leadership of the Federation's Vice-President Firdovsi Umudov.
First, the coaches' report on the results of the European Championship among U 15 and juniors held in Madrid, the capital of Spain, was heard. The results and individual development dynamics of athletes in the U-15 and junior national teams were reviewed separately. Then, the opinion of the medical staff on the nutrition and rehabilitation of athletes was studied.
At the meeting, specific instructions were also given regarding the planned training camps of the national teams. The purpose of organizing the preparations is to form a team that will go to important competitions of the year (VI Islamic Solidarity Games, World Championship, European Youth Championship).
At the end of the meeting, there was an exchange of views on current issues within the federation.
