Tehran Mammadov, a member of our national weightlifting team, won 3 silver medals at the European Championship held in Durrës, Albania.
"Report" reports with reference to the press service of the Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation that the athlete, competing in the 65 kg weight category, managed to lift 133 kg in the snatch.
Mammadov, who lifted 155 kg in the clean and jerk, scored a total of 288 kg.
Thus, Tehran Mammadov, who won 2 silver awards for the successful execution of snatch and clean and jerk, also rose to the second step of the podium in total.
The medalists were awarded medals by Firdovsi Umudov, a member of the "Advisory Group" of the International Weightlifting Federation and vice-president of the Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation.
