Azerbaijani trampoline gymnast Selcan Mahsudova aims to win a medal at the European Championship to be held this year.
The athlete stated this in an interview with "Report".
She spoke about her achievements at tournaments held in Alkmaar, Netherlands:
"We won a silver medal in synchronized mixed with my brother Magsud Mahsudov at the World Cup. I won a gold medal in the individual program at the "Dutch Trampoline Open" competition. We also took second place in the team standings. The competition was very successful for us. My performance there was my personal record. We want to win a medal at the next European Championship".
Selcan Mahsudova also touched upon being awarded a special cup as the female athlete who presented the most difficult program during the competition:
"I had the most difficult program. Actually, I didn't plan it. I just felt during the competition that I could do it during the program. Thus, there were three triple somersaults, and mine were chosen as the most difficult".
It should be reminded that other representatives of Azerbaijan also won medals at the tournaments held in the Netherlands .
