Russian three-time Olympic champion Alexander Dityatin has died at the age of 69.
"Report" reports that the press service of the Russian Gymnastics Federation has released information about this.
In addition to being a three-time Olympic champion, the former gymnast has also won the title of world champion (7 times) and European champion (4 times).
It should be noted that Alexander Dityatin won 3 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze medals at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. He is the only gymnast in history to win 8 medals in one competition.
