The next meeting was held at the headquarters of the Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation.
Idman.biz reports that coaches of national teams, as well as doctors and other employees of the administrative staff, participated in the reporting meeting held under the leadership of the federation's vice-president Firdovsi Umudov.
First, the coaches' report on the results of the U-15 and Youth European Championship held in Madrid, the capital of Spain, was heard. The results and individual development dynamics of the athletes in the national teams of U-15 and youth were reviewed separately.
Then, the opinion of the medical staff regarding the nutrition and rehabilitation of athletes was studied. At the meeting, specific instructions were also given regarding the planned training camps of the national teams. The aim of organizing the preparations is to form the team that will go to the important competitions of the year (VI Islamic Solidarity Games, World Championship, European Youth Championship).
At the end of the meeting, opinions were exchanged on current issues within the federation.
