The Baku Championship was held among athletes by the Baku City Youth and Sports Department and the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation.
İdman.Biz reports that on the first day of the competition, competitions were held among boys and girls in the 100 m, 400 m and 1500 m distances, triple jump, shot put and javelin throw.
In the triple jump, Ismayilov Ramil won a license to the U18 European Championship with a result of 14.40 m.

• 400 m boys — Abdullayev Javid I place with a result of 50.90
• 1500 m girls — Yusupova Elina I place with a result of 5:40.30
• 400 m girls — Sadigova Darya I place with a result of 1:01.61
• Javelin throw girls — Ahmadsoy Nihal I place with a result of 20.49 m
• Javelin throw men — Ibrahimzade Nijat I place with a result of 44.80 m
• 100 m girls — Karimova Safiya I place with a result of 12.78 sec
• 100 m boys — Suvayev Danil I place with a result of 11.35 sec
• Shot put girls — Ismayilova Ayla I place with a result of 10.45 m
• Shot put boys — Ibrahimzade Nijat I place with a result of 14.06 m
• 1500 m boys — Gafarov Nihat took I place with a result of 4:29.41.
The winning athletes were awarded medals and diplomas.
