President of Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation Kamran Nabizadeh received Dusan Kovac, member of the Executive Committee of the European Weightlifting Federation, President of the Czech Weightlifting Federation.
Idman.biz reports that the development prospects of relations between the federations of the two countries were discussed at the meeting.
The parties exchanged views on the organization of joint training camps and seminars with the participation of Azerbaijani and Czech athletes in the future. At the end of the meeting, the President of AWF Kamran Nabizadeh presented a special gift on behalf of the federation to his guest colleague. In turn, Dusan Kovac presented Kamran Nabizadeh with a commemorative medal of the Czech Weightlifting Federation.
Later, the Czech guest, together with AWF Vice-President Firdovsi Umudov, got acquainted with the training base of our national team. Dusan Kovac observed the preparation process of young and adolescent athletes. The guest emphasized that the conditions created for our athletes are at a high level, and emphasized the importance of this point in achieving results. At the end, Dusan Kovac and Firdovsi Umudov took a photo with the team members.
