Azerbaijani tumblers won a silver medal in the team event at the European Championships in trampoline, double mini-trampoline, and tumbling.
According to Idman.Biz from Portugal, the Azerbaijani team, consisting of Mikhail Malkin, Tofig Aliyev, Adil Hajizade, and Aleksey Karatashov, won the country's first medal in the competition.
The Danish team took first place, and the Portuguese team took third place.
It should be reminded that Mikhail Malkin and Tofig Aliyev will compete in the individual tumbling final tomorrow.

The individual semi-final stage among adults in trampoline gymnastics at the European Championship held in Portimao, Portugal, has ended.

According to the results of the competition, Seljan Mahsudova and Maqsud Mahsudov from Azerbaijan qualified for the final.
By reaching the final, Seljan Mahsudova also obtained a license for the European Games to be held in Istanbul in 2027.
A day earlier, Maqsud Mahsudov, together with Huseyn Abbasov, qualified for the final in synchronized jumps and obtained a similar license.
Thus, Azerbaijan currently has three licenses for the 2027 European Games in trampoline gymnastics.

The fourth, penultimate competition day of the European Championship in trampoline gymnastics, double mini-trampoline and tumbling has started in Portimao, Portugal.
Idman.Biz reports from Portugal that the competitions started with individual semi-finals in trampoline among juniors. Ammar Bakhshaliyev from Azerbaijan qualified for the final. He will also compete in the semi-final in double mini-trampoline later.
In addition, the finalists and medalists in a number of other categories and types will be determined today.
Nijat Mirzayev will compete for a place in the individual final in the U-21 category, while Seljan Mahsudova, Maqsud Mahsudov and Huseyn Abbasov will compete among adults.
