The rhythmic gymnastics group exercise team, which achieved success at the 32nd World Summer Universiade held in Germany, has returned to Baku. Sport24.az reports that the gymnasts were met at Heydar Aliyev International Airport by representatives of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, athletes and family members.
Our team finished the Universiade with 3 medals. The group consisting of Gullu Agalarzade, Laman Alimuradova, Darya Sorokina, Yelizaveta Luzan and Kamilla Aliyeva won 2 gold and 1 silver awards in various programs.
This is the first success of our gymnasts in team competitions in the history of the Universiades.
