World champion Mikhail Malkin failed to reach the podium at the European Trampoline Gymnastics Championships, finishing fourth.
The renowned gymnast shared his impressions of his performance with İdman.Biz.
"Everything didn't go as I wanted at this European Championship. Yes, I could have won a silver medal, but together with my coach Adil Huseynzade, we decided to take a risk and perform a more complex element to win "gold". Unfortunately, it didn't work out. I will compete in the next competitions and try to achieve the result I need," said Mikhail Malkin.
