Maqsud Mahsudov, who won a gold medal at the III CIS Games, is very happy to have raised the Azerbaijani flag.
According to the employee of "Report", who was sent to Shaki, the athlete said this in a statement to journalists.
The gymnast, who won the individual competition among boys, thanked his coaches:
"My impressions are very good. I want to thank my coaches. I thank the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation for organizing such a competition for us. I am very happy to have raised our flag. I won a gold medal and it is a big thing for me".
He expressed special gratitude to the fans and his mother:
"My mother was also sitting in the stands. I am very grateful to her for supporting us. My sister Seljan Mahsudova took third place. We will both return with medals. I thank everyone who supported us. May their children also have such success".
