She stated that she achieved this success thanks to discipline and hard work:
"Setting an Azerbaijani record is a matter of pride for me, and I value it as a very great achievement in my career. This success is not just a number, but the product of long-term hard work and discipline."
L. Valiyeva emphasized the special role of her coach in achieving the achievement:
"My teacher Olesya Abbasova played an indispensable role in achieving this achievement. Her professional approach, support and endless faith in me have been my greatest motivation on this path. This record is also the result of our joint work. I believe that I will achieve even higher results in the future."
The athlete also spoke about her next goals:
"My main focus for the near future is to achieve higher results in the 60-meter distance. I am thinking of updating my personal result."
It should be noted that L. Valiyeva renewed the country's record with 24.60 seconds in the 200-meter race at the 42nd Azerbaijan Championship held indoors. She won a gold medal in the 400-meter race at the Tokyo-2020 Summer Paralympic Games and in the 100-meter race at the Paris-2024 Paralympics.
