Former goalkeeper of the Azerbaijani national team, Dmitri Kramarenko, spoke about his daughter, gymnast Lala Kramarenko's reaction to the news of Irina Viner leaving the post of head coach of the Russian national team.
Idman.Biz reports that Lala Kramarenko represented Azerbaijan in gymnastics until 2014.
"She was shocked. "This can't be! Dad, how can I perform without her?" she said. I said that Viner will remain as a line coach. "But what if that doesn't happen? I turn around during training and Irina Aleksandrovna is not there," she replied. And she said all this despite the disagreements and grievances between them," said Dmitri Kramarenko.
Viner served as the head coach of the Russian rhythmic gymnastics team from 2001 to 2025. After leaving her post, she was replaced by Tatyana Sergeeva.
Dmitri Kramarenko is currently the goalkeeping coach of Moscow's CSKA club.
