Lala Kramarenko, the 2024 Russian rhythmic gymnastics champion and three-time world junior champion, has received neutral athlete status (AIN).
İdman.Biz reports that this was announced by the press service of the International Gymnastics Federation (World Gymnastics).
It was previously reported that Kramarenko was not included in the Russian national team for the current season.
The gymnast announced her decision to return to professional sports in 2025.
21-year-old Lala Kramarenko is the 2021 European champion, the 2019 world junior champion, and the 2018 European junior champion. Kramarenko won five gold medals at the 2024 Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships.
Lala Kramarenko is the granddaughter of Sergey Kramarenko, the legendary goalkeeper of Baku's "Neftchi" club, and the daughter of the famous Baku goalkeeper Dmitri Kramarenko.
