The Israel Gymnastics Federation intends to appeal in court against the decision to hold the 2025 World Championship without Israeli athletes.
Idman.Biz reports that the Indonesian government has announced that it will not grant entry visas to the Israeli gymnastics team for the World Championship to be held in Jakarta.
"The Israel Gymnastics Federation, the Israel Olympic Committee, and the Israel Ministry of Sports intend to appeal to the court to protest this outrageous decision and prevent the competition from taking place without the participation of the Israeli delegation. This is a very serious and weak decision, and we will fight it with all legal means at our disposal," the Israel Gymnastics Federation said.
The 2025 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships will be held in Jakarta from October 19 to 25.
