Members of the Azerbaijani national weightlifting team, Isa Rustamov and Dadash Dadashbayli, participated in the "Kakhi Cup 2025" international tournament held in Georgia.
Idman.biz reports that our representative, Isa Rustamov, won the bronze medal of the competition with a total result of 321 kg (145+176).
Our other athlete, Dadash Dadashbayli, finished 6th with a total result of 392 kg (184+208).
It should be noted that the results of the tournament are calculated using the Sinclair table, and the top 6 athletes are awarded medals. Athletes such as Yusuf Genç and Kaan Kahriman from Turkey, who are considered among the strongest athletes in Europe and the world, also competed in the international tournament.
