The Fencing World Championship starts today in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.
Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani team will be represented in several types of programs at the main tournament of the year.
Sabina Karimova, Leyla Ahmadova and Polina Kaspiarovich will compete in the women's sabre event. They will compete in both individual and team competitions.
In the men's sabre event, Murad Akbarov, Abbas Huseynov, Saleh Mammadov and Magsud Huseynli will participate in individual and team competitions.
In addition, Ruslan Hasanov will also participate in the European Championship in the epee event.
