The Azerbaijani national women's sabre fencing team fought until the end in all matches.
This was stated by team member Farah Abbasova in an interview with the Western Bureau of "Report".
She said that the competition was a good experience for herself and her teammates:
"The competition was organized at a high level. Our rivals were strong. We did our best in all matches, fought until the end and reached the final. Unfortunately, we lost to Russia in the decisive match. We need to work harder. We need to learn from our mistakes. We believe that we will win a gold medal in the next competitions."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team lost to Russia in the final.
