The fourth, penultimate day of the European Championships in Trampoline Gymnastics, Double Mini-Trampoline and Tumbling has started in Portimao, Portugal.
Idman.Biz reports from Portugal that the competitions started with individual trampoline semi-finals among juniors. Ammar Bakhshaliyev from Azerbaijan qualified for the final. He will also perform in the double mini-trampoline semi-final later.
In addition, today the finalists and medalists will be determined in a number of other categories and types.
Nijat Mirzayev will compete for a place in the individual final in the U-21 category, while Maqsud Mahsudov and Huseyn Abbasov will perform among adults.
Medals will also be fought for in team competitions today:
tumbling (juniors) - Ilham Mammadov, Sanan Rzazade, Riad Javadov;
double mini-trampoline - Ammar Bakhshaliyev, Omar Gasimov, Nikita Kolesnikov, Farhad Mustafayev;
trampoline gymnastics - Maqsud Mahsudov, Huseyn Abbasov, Ali Niftaliyev, Mehdi Aliyev;
tumbling (adults) - Mikhail Malkin, Tofig Aliyev, Aleksey Karatashov, Adil Hajizade.
