"This is the first medal of the Universiade."
Idman.biz's correspondent in Germany reports that this was stated by Elnara Huseynova, the coach of the group exercises team, in her statement to journalists.
"The group exercise team is performing at the Universiade for the first time. I congratulate everyone on winning a gold medal in the first competition we participated in. We are in the preparation stage for the World Championship. We will participate in a prestigious competition at the end of August."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team won its first medal at the Universiade held in Germany. The group exercises team took the highest place on the podium in the all-around.
