Draw Ceremony Held for European Aerobics Championships and Age Group Competitions in Ganja

The draw ceremony for the European Aerobics Championships, which will be held in Ganja in November, and the European competitions among age groups in this sport, has taken place.

Idman.biz reports that, according to the results of the draw, Portuguese gymnasts will start the competition in both events.

They will perform under the first number in the individual program among women. Azerbaijani gymnasts will start the competition in this program in 18th place.

Currently, the lists submitted by the participating teams are preliminary, and the names of the athletes will be announced later.

In addition to the host Azerbaijan, teams from 20 more countries will participate in Ganja: Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Spain, Finland, Estonia, France, Great Britain, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Greece, Moldova, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Turkey, and Ukraine.

A total of 281 athletes will compete in the European Championship, and 658 young people will test their strength in the age group competitions.

According to the calendar, the European Championship will be held in Ganja from November 14-16. Before that, the European competitions among age groups among participants under 15 years old will be held on November 9-11.

It should be noted that Ganja will host official international gymnastics competitions for the first time.
