The Baku Athletics Championship is being held by the Baku City Youth and Sports Department and the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation.
Idman.Biz reports that on the first day of the competition, races were held in the 100m, 110m hurdles, 400m, 1500m distances for boys and girls, as well as Triple Jump, Shot Put, and Javelin Throw.
The winning athletes were awarded medals and diplomas.
