Azerbaijani athletes-gymnasts won 7 medals at the Open Cup tournament held in Mogilev, Belarus.
Idman.biz reports with reference to the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation that 8 athletes represented our country in the competition.
Our gymnasts included in the team - Rasul Ahmadzada, Deniz Aliyeva, Nazanin Teymurova, Ayten Mammadova, Leyla Mammadzade, Albina Aliyeva, Aynaz Majidzade and Khadija Abbaszade competed.
Of these, Albina Aliyeva won gold (vault - 13.483 points), Rasul Ahmadzada won silver (floor exercises - 13.050 points) and two bronze (pommel horse - 13.000 points, parallel bars - 12.875 points), Deniz Aliyeva won silver (vault - 12.733 points) and bronze (floor exercises - 11.733 points), Leyla Mammadzade won a bronze medal (vault - 12.883 points).
