Azerbaijani athletes qualify for the finals at the 3rd CIS Games in Trampoline Gymnastics

Trampoline gymnastics competitions are held in the Shaki Olympic Sports Complex as part of the 3rd CIS Games. On the first day of the competition, women and men performed in the qualifying stage in the individual program.

43 gymnasts from 7 countries – Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Tajikistan, Russia and Belarus – are competing in this prestigious tournament.

Azerbaijan is represented in the women's individual program by Selcan Mahsudova, who renewed the world record in Germany, as well as Shafiga Humbatova and Vafa Alisultanova; among men, Nijat Mirzayev, Ali Niftaliyev, Magsud Mahsudov and Mehdi Aliyev represent Azerbaijan.

According to the results of the qualifying stage, gymnasts from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus and Russia qualified for the final among women, and athletes from Belarus, Russia and Azerbaijan among men.

It should be noted that in the final stage, our country will be represented in the women's individual program by Selcan Mahsudova, and in the team competitions by Selcan Mahsudova, Shafiga Humbatova and Vafa Alisultanova; among men, Magsud Mahsudov, Huseyn Abbasov and Nijat Mirzayev will represent us.

In accordance with the program of the 3rd CIS Games hosted by Azerbaijan, trampoline gymnastics competitions started on October 1 in Shaki.

Idman.biz reports that 45 athletes from 7 countries (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan) are competing in the competition held at the Shaki Olympic Sports Complex.

The qualifying competitions in the individual program among female gymnasts have already been completed. 22 female gymnasts competed in the competition to reach the final. In the qualifying stage, our country was represented by 3 female athletes – Selcan Mahsudova, Shafiga Humbatova and Vafa Alisultanova.
