The Azerbaijan Aerobic Gymnastics Championship was held in Ganja for the first time.
According to "Report", the IX national championship took place in the Ganja Sports Palace.
Gymnasts participating in the competition performed in different age categories and programs.
Juniors (2017-2018) performed in individual exercises, children (2014-2016) in individual, mixed pair, trio and group programs, adolescents (2011-2013) in individual, mixed pair, trio, group and aerodance programs, and youth showed their skills in individual and trio compositions.
About 60 gymnasts representing the "Ocaq Sport" Club and the Sumgayit Olympic Sports Complex participated in the competition. The distinguished were awarded with medals and diplomas.
The tournament also served as a test for the young gymnasts for the I European Championship among youth and gymnasts under 15, which will be held for the first time in Ganja on November 9-11.
