With the organization of the Azerbaijan Archery Federation and the support of the Azerbaijan Sports Academy, archery referee training was held on November 16–18 under the leadership of international-level referee Alper Güler.
Idman.Biz reports that the training, attended by 22 people, increased knowledge and skills in the application of international standards, proper management of the refereeing process, and analysis of practical situations.
Para-archery coaches and athletes also participated in the training, which created conditions for the process to be organized in a more inclusive and comprehensive manner.
Following the exam held today, certificates were presented to the participants by the Secretary General of the Federation Farid Khalilov and referee Alper Güler.
The aim of the training is to improve the quality of refereeing in archery, and to train professional personnel in accordance with international standards. This creates the basis for fair and correct management of competitions.
A Federation official said that this training is of particular importance in terms of the application of international experience in our country, and it is planned to organize such programs continuously in the future.
