An anti-doping awareness seminar was held for athletes of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation.
Idman.Biz reports that the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) has released information about this.
At the event organized by AMADA, athletes were provided with detailed information about the prohibited list, the doping control process, as well as the rights and obligations of athletes. It was brought to attention that adherence to clean sport values is one of the main factors in the formation of an athlete's long-term and successful career. Staying away from doping helps to protect the athlete's health, achieve results fairly, and maintain personal reputation.
The event was organized in an interactive format and continued with question-and-answer sessions. The main goal of the seminar was to increase athletes' awareness of anti-doping rules, prevent possible risks and strengthen adherence to the principles of fair competition.
