The month-long international sports camp of the "Angels of Plushenko" figure skating academy has ended.
Idman.Biz reports that the club announced this on its social media account. 60 athletes from 12 countries participated in the camp.
Athletes from Russia, India, China, Latvia, the Netherlands, Iran, Armenia, Sweden, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Bulgaria participated in the preparation process.
The "Angels of Plushenko" academy was founded by two-time Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko.
It should be noted that Plushenko's son Aleksandr changed his sports citizenship from Russia to Azerbaijan and will represent Azerbaijan for the next five years. For this, the International Skating Union (ISU) has not yet issued Aleksandr Plushenko the required Clearance ISU certificate to compete for the Azerbaijani national team in international competitions.
