Azerbaijani athlete Alham Nagiyev has finished his competition at the World Championships held in Tokyo. Sport24.az reports this with reference to the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation.
He took 48th place in the 200-meter race. A. Nagiyev, who covered the distance in 21.10 seconds, failed to qualify for the semi-finals.
The athlete shared the same starting line with Botswana's Olympic champion Letsile Tebogo in the qualifying round.
