Azerbaijani representative Alham Naghiyev won a gold medal at the Balkan Athletics Championships held in Volos, Greece.
According to "Report", he finished the 200-meter race with a time of 20.70 seconds.
With this result, Naghiyev surpassed all his rivals in the event, in which a total of 19 athletes competed, and won the gold medal of the Balkan Championship.
It should be noted that the last time one of our athletes won this competition was in 2021 by Anna Skidan. Rustam Mammadov won the highest step of the podium at the Balkan Indoor Championships in February of this year.
