Azerbaijani athlete Alham Naghiyev, who won a gold medal at the Balkan Athletics Championship held in Volos, Greece, aims to achieve success in bigger competitions.
The athlete, who climbed to the highest step of the podium, told "Report" about this.
He spoke about his recent success and future goals:
"It is very gratifying to achieve such a result at the Balkan Championship. Winning a gold medal and raising the flag of Azerbaijan high is a wonderful feeling. It is difficult to express my feelings in words. My next goal will depend on the training processes. I aim to work harder and achieve success in bigger competitions."
It should be noted that A. Naghiyev finished the 200-meter race with a score of 20.70 seconds, becoming the first in the competition of 19 athletes in total.
