The "AGF Trophy" international tournament in artistic gymnastics has kicked off at the National Gymnastics Arena.
Idman.Biz reports that athletes from nearly 10 countries are demonstrating their skills at the competition.
Azerbaijan is represented by 16 gymnasts in the tournament.
In the women's gymnastics competition, Nazanin Teymurova, Deniz Aliyeva, Ayten Mammadova, Khadija Abbaszadeh, Albina Aliyeva, Leyla Mammadzade, Aynaz Majidzade, and Lala Zamanli are competing.
In the men's gymnastics competition, Rasul Ahmadzada, Aydin Alizade, Nikita Simonov, Miryusif Ahmadzada, Ilham Salayev, Mahir Salimov, Iskandar Javadzade, and Mahammad Rustamzade are competing for medals.
Gymnasts from Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Hungary, as well as athletes competing under a neutral status (AIN), are also participating in the "AGF Trophy" tournament, which will conclude on May 16.
