Sara Shukurova, a representative of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF), hopes that the artistic gymnasts will please them at the World Cup in Baku.
She stated this in an interview with "Report" about it.
S. Shukurova said that the second World Cup of the year is being held in Baku:
"Our country is hosting the second World Cup in 2026. This time, the artistic gymnastics competition has started at the National Gymnastics Arena. More than 30 countries have joined the tournament here. Our country is represented in the competition of both women and men. Azerbaijan is represented by Rasul Ahmadzade, Aydin Alizade, Nikita Simonov, Deniz Aliyeva, Nazanin Teymurova and Khadija Abbaszade. We hope that our athletes will please us with medals."
It should be noted that the World Cup, which started today, will end on March 8.
