At the World Cup in trampoline gymnastics and tumbling that ended in Baku, Azerbaijani athletes once again made their mark: three-time world champion Mikhail Malkin won gold, and two-time world champion Tofig Aliyev won silver. Both titled athletes are students of Adil Huseynzade, the head coach of the national team.
Adil Huseynzade, speaking to Idman.Biz, commented on the final performances.
"They are both very valuable to me and I love them exactly the same. If they changed places - Tofig first, Mikhail second - I would be just as happy. The main thing is that they both raise the Azerbaijani flag and fight in the world arena for the honor of our country," he said.
