The Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation (AAF) continues its activities aimed at developing sports in the regions.
Idman.Biz reports that sports schools and clubs that apply to the federation are provided with the necessary equipment by the AAF leadership on a distribution basis.
In this context, AAF presented a set of barbells in accordance with international standards to the Children and Youth Sports School of the Sharur District Education Department of the Ministry of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The equipment was handed over to the school's coach, Shafi Huseynov.
A few days earlier, a full set of barbell equipment was sent to the Gazakh District Children and Youth Sports School of the Gazakh-Tovuz Regional Department of Youth and Sports. The equipment was presented to the school's head coach, Sarkhan Gasimli.
The Federation announced that it is planned to provide equipment to other schools and clubs that apply in the near future.
