The value of "Formula 1" teams has increased dramatically in recent years, even though they were several times cheaper just six years ago.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the valuation takes into account the teams' financial performance, recent transactions, reports and analysts' assessments.
"We have clarified the figures, and although the share price of each team has increased, "Ferrari" is the leader," the report emphasizes.
The current value of "Formula -1" teams:
1. Ferrari – 7.1 billion dollars;
2. Mercedes – 6.4 billion dollars;
3. McLaren – 5.2 billion dollars;
4. Red Bull – 4.9 billion dollars;
5. Aston Martin – 3.3 billion dollars;
6. Williams – 2.6 billion dollars;
7. Alpine – 2.6 billion dollars;
8. Audi – 2.6 billion dollars;
9. Racing Bulls – 2.4 billion dollars;
10. Haas – 1.9 billion dollars.
In 2020, the value of most of these teams was significantly lower. For example, Ferrari, at the top of the list, was worth approximately $2 billion, McLaren $740 million, and Williams only $120 million.
It is noted that the increase in the value of "Formula -1" teams is due to systematic changes in the championship itself. In particular, after the signing of the Concorde Agreement and the introduction of budget restrictions, the teams have achieved stable income and cost control, which has significantly increased their investment attractiveness.
