Coordinators of the academies of Azerbaijani clubs at a meeting with employees of the Competition Organization Department of AFFA highlighted that the biggest problem is related to young football players who have reached the age of 18.
Zaur Hashimov, coordinator of the "Zira" Football Academy, told "Report" about this.
He spoke about the details of the meeting held at the national association:
"I think that this meeting, organized on the initiative of Emin Jafarov, the head of the Competition Organization Department, was very useful. I would like it to be held regularly. The topic was the holding of leagues for lower age groups. The academy leaders made various proposals. Proposals were submitted to improve the quality of championships, especially the Youth League, next season".
Z. Hashimov emphasized that the organizers carefully listened to the opinions and suggestions and took notes:
"Coordinators stated that the biggest problem is related to young players who have reached the age of 18. Many football players who reach this age and are members of the national team are forced to go to the army. In this case, the careers of promising young people are ended. The organizers carefully listened to the opinions and suggestions and took notes. This meeting will be of great benefit in holding competitions for the next season".
