Former "Barcelona" coach Xavi is being considered for the position of "Milan" coach.
According to Idman.Biz, citing "Corriere dello Sport", the Spanish manager's candidacy is being put forward by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, advisor to the American investment company "Redbird", which owns the Italian club.
"Milan" management plans to appoint a modern coach with an attacking style of play.
It was previously reported that "Milan" had dismissed head coach Massimiliano Allegri. General manager Giorgio Furlani and sporting director Igli Tare have also been dismissed.
Xavi coached "Barcelona" from 2021 to 2024. Under his leadership, the Catalan team won the Spanish League and the Spanish Super Cup.
